- Asset Forfeiture & Drug Team Review (2009–2010) — Reviewed three years of civil-forfeiture seizures and administrative procedures across all State Police drug teams and special enforcement units; reported findings to the MSP Director and Executive Council and revised the MSP official order governing forfeiture.
- New Mexico State Police Review (2008) — Member of a four-person team that evaluated the New Mexico State Police Narcotics Unit’s structure, operating policy, and personnel practices; authored the findings and recommendations delivered to the NMSP Director.
- Trooper-Homicide Manhunt (2003) — Served as Incident Commander and authored the after-action report for the manhunt and apprehension of a right-wing extremist who murdered a Michigan state trooper.
- Methcathinone Enforcement Coordination (1992–1995) — Led the MSP response to methcathinone: authored the issue report and recommendations for a joint DEA / MSP effort, oversaw MSP participation in the joint task force, produced a law enforcement training video, and presented on Michigan’s methcathinone problem at an international conference in Washington, D.C.
